Baltimore’s Fells Point neighborhood established its first pub some 300 years ago. Booze has been a thriving business in Baltimore since then, as Maryland ignored Prohibition laws and pledged to remain a wet state. Historically, Fells Point is known as a rowdy, dangerous seaport- a haven for pirates, criminals, and ladies of the night.
