Commune with Spirits — Alcohol proof.

Did you know that back in the heydays of Boston, gin was cheaper than water? Beer too?

Boston holds a special role in American history. It’s famed for Fenway Park, great football, baked beans, and craft beer, but it’s also where the American Revolution began and was fought. Given the city’s famous reputation, many people fail to see the looming darkness lurking behind the city’s old working-class veneer. You’ll go to spooky bars and inns that used to be frequented by American patriots like John Hancock, Samuel Adams, John Adams, Paul Revere, and more.

Boston, the Cradle of Liberty, has an amazing spirit-filled history. One full of regional ghosts, such as the famouse, Anheuser-Busch, and a couple of porters. It’s also incredibly welcoming to spirits from other regions like, Jose Cuervo, Jack D., and the ever worrisome Johnny Walker have been known to frequent its many establishments.

“It’s an odd mix — ghost stories with booze. I had a weird, fun-filled time. Who would have thought? A haunted pub crawl.”
