Did you know that Jacksonville was once the favorite hotspot of criminals, mobsters, and some of the most sought-out personage on the FBI’s Most Wanted List? This is a place of bootleggers and cement shoes.
Jacksonville is four times larger than the island of Manhattan- and in its borders, ghosts, bogeymen, and all manner of things that go bump in the night dance the cha-cha after every sunset. Jacksonville was once this nation’s Hollywood, before Hollywood was even a thing. And before that, it was a land swallowed in strife, in native warfare, in ancient curses, in devilish pirates attacking the land. And each of those eras, with its wild personalities and demons, brough with it all manner of madness, of violence, of hostilities, of violent delights- the food ghosts and monsters dine on.
“Creepy as hell. Really, really creepy. There’s this one, in an alleyway that’s like a Stephen King novel brought to life.”
Our Jacksonville Ghost Tour takes you through a ghost-filled ride across this amazing town’s most cursed spots and old bay city locations. Between 8 and 12 locations, depending on the experience you purchase. During our walk we will dive headlong into tales of curse effigies, of pirates stalking the land, of dead children washing ashore, of romance gone bad. Lean into the violence and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of this region’s best ghost stories and secrets.
